St Anthony’s School for Girls was awash with colour as students celebrated cultures from around the world.

Pupils participated in a range of educational activities to explore the delights of each other’s nationalities, including tucking into a French-themed breakfast, displaying their artistic skills with Aboriginal painting and English pressed flower craft, and taking part in Samba, Italian cookery and Turkish dancing workshops.

Each girl created a poster for display in the school, including the flag which represents their nationality, a photograph of their family and a short caption which they wrote about their home country.

Headteacher Laura Flannery said: “We are delighted to see our pupils explore and embrace the many cultures within our school community, by engaging in an array of cultural and languages focused activities. Their performances were beautiful and we are incredibly proud.”
