CHILDREN will benefit from holiday activities after Westbourne councillors announced they would spend �20,000 of the ward budget on new projects.
Schools around Harrow Road will open their premises during half term to host activities including sport, arts, and drama.
The activities will be open to children aged between five and 13 during the February half term holiday and Easter break.
Primary schools taking part in the project will include Edward Wilson Primary School in Senior Street, St Mary's Magdalene CE Primary School in Rowington Close, St Mary of the Angels RC Primary School in Shrewsbury Road and Our Lady of Dolours RC Primary School in Cirencester Street.
