THE CHRISTMAS lights in Highgate Village are set to be switched on tomorrow by Eastenders star Cliff Parisi.
The actor, who plays the character Minty in the BBC show, will signal the start of the festive season when he turns on the lights at 4.30pm at the corner where Pond Square meets Highgate High Street.
People of all ages are being encouraged to come along and enter the festive spirit and also start their Christmas shopping in the village shops.
And anyone who wants to make a donation towards the Highgate Christmas lights fund can send a cheque payable to the Prickett and Ellis Christmas Lights Fund, 27 Highgate High Street, N6 5JT.
