A burst water main has closed off a major road in East Finchley for more than five hours.
Affinity Water engineers are carrying out emergency repairs to an 8ft water main on the Great North Road outside East Finchley Tube station.
The road has been closed northbound between Archway Road and East Finchley Tube station since around 9am this morning.
Since arriving at the scene earlier today, engineers have discovered a second burst which they are continuing to repair.
Diversions are affecting bus routes 102, 143, 234, 263, 603 and H3.
