Large-scale traffic disruption is anticipated in West Hampstead as Mill Lane is closed for major resurfacing works from October 21 to 28.
Coinciding with rush hour, the works are set to take place from 8am to 6pm on Monday to Saturday and from 9am to 5pm on Sunday.
The busy high street in West Hampstead will be closed both ways with no through access. Certain areas of parking will also be suspended.
Traffic diversions will be in place via Fortune Green and Kilburn High Road.
The work will be divided into four road sections, which will each be closed for two days. The sections will be closed in the following order: West End Lane to outside number 81 Mill Lane; then outside number 81 Mill Lane to Broomsleigh Street; then Broomsleigh Street to Westbere Road; then Westbere Road to Fordwych Road.
