Despite Haringey Council's assertion via every means possible (e.g. Haringey People, lamp post banners) to tell us they are running a successful, well managed borough, the recent tragic events have demonstrated that processes within the borough are seriously flawed.
Rather than giving us glossy spin via these outlets (We have repaired potholes, We have collected rubbish, etc, - well, that's part of the basic function of a council, isn't it?) can I suggest that they take a break from the pro-council propaganda on this occasion and, via these outlets, offer an unreserved apology for having failed so badly - and then consign them to the dustbin of history.
