A DEVELOPER offering pocket-sized properties to young professionals in Maida Hill was sent back to the drawing board by planning chiefs last night (Thursday).
Private developer Pocket wants to build 32 affordable one-bedroom flats in Fermoy Road giving young Londoners a leg-up onto the housing ladder. The flats would cost around 180,000 - a 20 per cent discount on the market price.
But some residents opposed the scheme which doesn't provide any parking spaces for residents and planning officers rejected the development.
The plans will go back before a Westminster planning committee in the coming weeks (date to be decided).
