The funeral of David Gest is set to take place this afternoon at Golders Green crematorium, according to reports.
The 62-year-old producer was found dead in his hotel room at the Four Seasons in Canary Wharf on April 12 and his friends and loved ones will gather for a ‘celebration of his life’ today.
It is expected that his ashes will be taken to York after the service, where he was apparently on the verge of moving to.
The Los Angeles born producer was known as an entertainer, producer and television personality, as well as for his short-lived marriage to Liza Minnelli.
