A CYCLIST is in a critical but stable state after an accident in Crouch End.
Police say they believe the man fell from his bike on Crouch End Hill just before 6pm on Thursday evening.
An air ambulance collected the man - believed to be in his 40s and suffering from serious head injuries - and took him to the Royal London Hospital, where he remains.
The road was closed soon after the incident and was not reopened until after 9pm.
