AN "overwhelming" number of Highgate Wood students will be heading to university next year following their A level results.
The school marginally improved on last year's results, with 71 percent of pupils gaining A to C grades.
A fantastic 98 percent of all exams taken also received a pass grade, A to E.
The Crouch End school's BTEC students also shone, with 100 percent passing and around 50 percent gaihning a Distinction, which is equivalent to three As at A Level.
Headteacher Patrick Cozier said: "Students in the sith form show all those in the school what can be achieved with hard work and dedication.
"I offer my congratulations to all students who have beaten their targets to win places at university.
