PETER Crouch has rejoined Tottenham for 9million, nine years after leaving his first ever club for 60,000.
The 6ft 7ins striker started last season playing under Harry Redknapp and alongside strike partner Jermain Defoe at Portsmouth.
And, having seen both of his colleagues remarkably move to Spurs during the last campaign, Crouch has now followed the pair to N17.
The England forward - who has scored 15 goals in 32 appearances for the Three Lions - is the fourth Lilywhite to return to White Hart Lane within six months, after Redknapp persuaded Defoe, Robbie Keane and Pascal Chimbonda to sign up for a second spell in January.
