The pavement outside a parade of shops on Finchley Road has been cordoned off after knife raiders threatened staff at a branch of Vodafone and made off with thousands of pounds worth of mobile phones.

A Met spokeswoman said officers were called just before 1pm to reports of a knife-point robbery at the store on Harben Parade, Finchley Road.

She said: “Two men entered the store and threatened staff before leaving with a quantity of mobile phones. Nobody was injured.”
