A Romanian man is behind bars charged with burglary after a pensioner discovered a thief in her kitchen rifling through her handbag.
Puiu Cimperiu, 45, of no fixed abode, is accused of stealing the contents of the 70-year-old woman’s bag after entering the house in Gondar Gardens, West Hampstead,
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Blackfriars Crown court on April 1 for trial on a charge of burglary
