A 16-year-old from Hampstead was due to appear before magistrates today charged with attacking two women in the Parliament Hill area of Hampstead Heath.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of robbing and sexually assaulting one woman and then robbing and injuring another woman in two attacks in the Parliament Hill area.
Detectives had launched an appeal following the alleged incidents at around 11pm on August 8.
The teenager faces a total of five charges which include one count of sexual assualt on a female, two counts of robbery, and one of assault causing actual bodily harm. He also faces a charge of possessing an offensive weapon.
