A jury sitting at the inquest into the death of a talented ballerina who died under a train at St Pancras Station has retired today to reach its conclusions.

West Hampstead schoolgirl Tallulah Wilson, 15, died from severe head injuries after she jumped in front of a train in October 2012.

Tallulah was addicted to a blogging website, where she created a fantasy account portraying herself as a cocaine-taking anorexic, it was heard during the five-day inquest at St Pancras Coroner’s Court.

Tallulah’s mother Sarah Wilson told the jury last week that the ballet dancer, once headhunted by the Royal Ballet School, talked about suicide on her online blog and posted disturbing images of self-harm for her 18,000 followers.

Senior coroner for north London, Mary Hassell, advised the jury not to take sympathy into account when returning their conclusion.

“You may have feelings of sympathy for a great many of the people who gave evidence to you in court,” she said today.

“You may feel sympathy for a great many of those who were involved.

“But you must not reach a conclusion based on sympathy, you must reach a conclusion on your determination of the facts – in other words, the truth”

Jurors are due to return a conclusion tomorrow afternoon at St Pancras Coroner’s Court.
