An Islington man and two Stroud Green residents have been charged as part of the investigation into the attempted murder of three women at a Marble Arch hotel.
Thomas Efremi, 56, of Upper Handa Walk, is charged with handling stolen goods and fraud by false representation while James Moss, 33, and Carly Baker, 31, both of Hanley Road, Stroud Green, are charged with handling stolen goods.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Southwark Crown Court on April 17. Carly Baker was bailed until April 15, when she will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
Philip Spence, 32, of no fixed abode, is charged with three counts of attempted murder and one count of aggravated burglary. He remains in custody and will also appear at Southwark Crown Court on April 17.
A 34-year-old man has been bailed to return, pending further enquiries, on a date in May.
Three women in their 30s from United Arab Emirates were injured during the incident which took place at the Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch in the early hours of April 6. All three remain in hospital where one of them is in a critical condition.
