Staff and volunteers at a Camden charity shop have left their roles after bosses discovered cash and stock had been stolen.
Workers at the Age UK shop, in Kentish Town Road, Kentish Town, have handed in their notice following allegations of theft.
A spokesman for Age UK would not confirm how many staff and volunteers had left the store or whether the incident had been reported to police.
Hugh Forde, managing director of Age UK Retail, Trade and Trading, said: “Age UK Retail has identified theft of cash and stock at one of its local shops.
“A number of staff and volunteers from the shop have voluntarily given Age UK notice of their intention to leave either as a staff member or volunteer.”
