A 49-year-old man was given a formal warning after police found him baking two cakes filled with cannabis in his Camden Town flat.
Officers were called to a dispute on the Clarence Way estate last Wednesday when they smelled cannabis through the door of a man’s flat.
When they knocked, a 49-year-old man opened the door and immediately admitted he was preparing to bake two cannabis cakes.
He was then given a cannabis warning and asked to wash out the cake tins before police disposed of them.
Pc Andrew Harris said: “This the first time I’ve come across cannabis cakes in Camden. It was a lucky chance to come across it.”
