Violent disorder with weapons in Queen’s Crescent has led to a dispersal zone authorisation.
Islington police tweeted a notice that the dispersal zone in the NW5 area will run until 8.45pm tomorrow evening.
Dispersal zones give police officers and police community support officers the power to ban people from the area who they suspect are likely to cause crime, nuisance or anti-social behaviour for up to 48 hours.
If a person has been told to leave the area and returns during the period of the dispersal notice, they could be arrested.
Camden Police and Islington Police have begun a trial of merging services across the two boroughs.
