Police responded after a man was stabbed on High Street in Hornsey yesterday evening at 9pm
Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended and the man, 39, was taken to an east London hospital for treatment.
He remains there in a serious but stable condition.
There have been no arrests and police enquiries continue.
