Man charged after gold Rolex stolen in Belsize Park hammer attack

A man has been charged with robbery in connection with a hammer attack in the street in Belsize Park.

Police were called to reports of a 48-year-old man being assaulted and robbed with a hammer in Akenside Road, at 4.26am on Monday, September 22.

A gold Rolex watch was taken from the victim.

Trevor Robinson, 23, of no fixed abode, appeared at East Central Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday accused of robbery.

He was remanded into custody and will next appear at Wood Green Crown Court on Tuesday, October 14.
