Two men have been charged following a routine vehicle stop by police on Muswell Hill Road.
Sharif Bako, 25, of Sussex Way, Islington was charged yesterday with possession of a prohibited firearm.
A 17-year-old male from Outram Road, East Ham was charged with possession of a prohibited firearm, dangerous driving, driving a vehicle without a valid licence and insurance, and failing to stop for police.
The incident took place last Friday.
Both suspects will appear at Highbury Magistrates’ Court today.
