Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper and captain Hugo Lloris, who lives in East Finchley, has been charged with drink-driving after being stopped by police in the early hours of this morning.
Lloris, who recently captained France to victory in the World Cup, was stopped in Gloucester Place, Marylebone according to the Metropolitan Police.
He has been bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court to face the charge on September 11.
