E-fit image released of Crouch End attempted rape suspect
Detectives have released this e-fit image of a man who allegedly dragged a woman into his car in Crouch End and tried to rape her.
A 22-year-old woman was walking home along Ferme Park Road in the early hours of Saturday, July 2 when she was attacked near to the junction of Ossian Road.
The man, thought to be in his mid 30s, grabbed her and forced her into the passenger seat of his parked car, where he tried to rape her.
The woman was able to fight the man off before fleeing.
Detectives from Sapphire, the Metropolitan Police unit that specialises in investigating sexual assaults, are hoping the appeal will help them track down the man.

The suspect is a man with dark hair, olive skin, stubble on his face, of quite stocky build, and he has a foreign accent.
On the night of the attack he was wearing dark clothes. The car is a dark coloured four door saloon.
