A man has been handed a suspended prison sentence and banned from entering parts of Camden Town for five years for dealing cannabis.
Ahmed Quasin Hersi, 31, of Greenhaven Drive, Thamesmead, was issued the anti social behaviour order (ASBO) last week at Blackfriars Crown Court after he was spotted on CCTV supplying another man with the Class B drug by the canal towpath.
The incident in November followed another in June when he was seen by officers handing an item to another man and found to be in possession of cannabis.
PC Louis Hawkins from the Camden Town centre team said: “I am happy that this ASBO has been granted as Hersi can no longer deal drugs in the Camden Town area without breaching his ASBO.
“We work hard to tackle all forms of drug dealing and anti social behaviour and ASBOs are a useful tool in doing this.”
