The woman accused of posing as a shaman faith healer to scam £1million from vulnerable people will not give evidence at her trial.
Juliette D’Souza, who faces 23 counts of obtaining property by deception and fraud, has opted not to take the witness stand at Blackfriars Crown Court.
The jury was informed of her decision yesterday (Wednesday).
The trial has been adjourned and will resume on Tuesday.
D’Souza, 59, of Perrin’s Lane, Hampstead, denies all the charges.
