Camden’s police chief is out on patrol in Hampstead today in the wake of two attacks on lone women.
Chief Supt Penny Banham accompanied an officer on a call in Daleham Gardens in Hampstead this afternoon after reports of a person in distress.
The person had hurt themselves, but their injuries were not serious.
Chief Supt Banham’s visit comes just one week after the latest attack on a lone woman in the area.
A 36-year-old woman was approached from behind by a man who grabbed her neck in Grove Place, Hampstead, at about 6.30pm last Tuesday.
