Armed police swooped on Camden High Street after reports of a man walking along with a large firearm slung across his shoulder.
Camden police tweeted a picture of the alleged firearm with the comment: “Male arrested by firearm officers after seen walking along Camden High Street with this hung over the shoulder.”
They said an alarmed member of the public called police at around 7am this morning after spotting the man walking along with what looked like a gun.
Armed officers rushed to the scene and arrested the man.
