A 40-YEAR-OLD man was arrested on Friday for a knife attack on a 24-year-old woman on Finchley Road last Wednesday morning.
Petros Yemane has been charged by Camden police with grievous bodily harm with intent.
He appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and was remanded in custody.
The young woman was rushed to hospital last Wednesday after suffering a stab wound to her back at around 11.30am at the junction of Weech Road and Finchley Road.
She is currently in a stable condition.
