A Dragons’ Den conman from Highgate who blew �230,000 invested by Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis has been jailed.
Jean-Claude Baumgartner, 50, duped the TV tycoons into handing over cash to develop a satnav for skiers.
But his claim of having a successful firm was false, backed up by fake emails and letters, Blackfriars Crown Court heard on February 17.
Baumgartner, of Parliament Hill, was jailed for two years and eight months for fraud by false reputation.
