Two attempted carjackings on the same evening in Westminster are being investigated.
Police were called to Warrington Crescent in Maida Vale at 8.40pm on Friday, October 5. A 66-year-old man had been assaulted by three teenagers after refusing to give them the keys to his car.
The suspects are described as black, aged between 14 and 17, and wore hoodies. They fled the scene and no arrests were made despite a search of the area.
Later the same night, three suspects were arrested in Albion Gate, Bayswater, after stealing a car, understood to be a grey Porsche.
They have been bailed to return to police in December.
Officers are investigating links between the two incidents but say there is nothing to connect them at this time.
Witnesses can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
