A man who was arrested at a Margaret Thatcher “death party” is wanted by police after he failed to appear in court.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Armands Strautins, 31, of Mornington Terrace, Mornington Crescent, on Thursday after he failed to attend Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
He was due to be sentenced after he previously admitted being drunk and disorderly in Trafalgar Square on Saturday, April 13 while celebrating the former prime minister’s demise.
At a previous appearance, the court heard Strautins shouted: “F***ing pigs,” to police who asked him to move on.
He also admitted breaching an electronically monitored curfew, which he received days before on April 9 for obstructing a drug search.
