A 16 year old boy was stabbed on Primrose Hill last night.
Police were called to Primrose Hill, near the Primrose Hill Road entrance to the park at 9.30pm yesterday evening along with the London ambulance service.
Officers found stab wounds to the boy’s leg. His condition is serious but stable and his family are with him at hospital. His injury has been described as “significant” and will “require surgery.”
The boy is a Year 12 student at Jewish Community Secondary School in Chipping Barnet.Police believe he was with four female friends when he was approached by four men. After an altercation, the 16 year old was stabbed.
The suspects, who are white, are not thought to be known to the victim or his friends.
A large police presence remains and the scene is cordoned off.
Primrose Hill Road is closed to traffic between Ainger Road and Regent’s Park Road.
No arrests have been made and police are appealing for any witnessess who may have seen the incident.
