Woman killed in Crouch End fire named

Vivian Addo, 57 fell victim to Monday’s fire in Crescent Road.

A WOMAN who died in a fire in Crouch End on Monday has been named by police.

Vivian Addo, 57, was found dead by firefighters in a lower ground-floor flat in Alyn Court on Crescent Road.

A 21-year-old man who was arrested after being discharged from hospital has now been released on bail to return to a north London police station on Novermber 3.

A spokesman for the London Fire Service said their four engines and 20 firefighters helped to rescue two women trapped on the second floor of the property and another on the first floor - all three were treated for smoke inhalation.
