A Camden police officer has been suspended after being charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Pc Saheena Tegally, 26, is accused of “committing a series of acts with intent to pervert the course of public justice”.

The officer worked on Camden’s Safer Transport Team, which is based at West Hampstead Police Station.

She will appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (December 10).

She has been suspended until the outcome of her case.
