A man has been charged with an attack at Finsbury Park station


A suspect is set to appear in court today charged with attacking a man at Finsbury Park station.

British Transport Police said the 27-year-old was charged after the alleged attack.

A spokesman said: “Adeyemi Adeye, of no fixed abode, has been charged with Section 18 wounding with intent, possession of a bladed article and a Section 4 public order offence.”

Adeye has been remanded in custody, and will appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court this morning.

Police were called to Finsbury Park station on Tuesday afternoon.
