The Ham&High is out now.

Our lead story is about Camden Council taking one of its own members to court.

Primrose Hill Cllr Jonny Bucknell is accused of failing to carry out improvement works to a house he lets out.

He appeared at a brief hearing at Highbury Magistates Court last week.

He will appear again on January 14 to submit a plea.

Mr Bucknell pointed out that the tenant was in temporary accommodation at the time.

Also this week, campaigners have hit out after excavation work started next to world-famous recording studio AIR Studios.

The owner has warned that a number of huge recordings would have to be scrapped if work continues.

Independent traders have spoken of their hopes as the festive period gets underway.

In spite of the challenges posed by events like Black Friday, they say there is plenty to be cheerful about.

Our politics reporter Rachel Roberts has done an in-depth interview with MP Tulip Siddiq, reflecting on her first six months in Parliament.

And a tribunal has heard that a leading surgeon “sacrificed” the care of an NHS transplant patient so he could treat two foreign brothers at a private Bupa hospital first.
