A 14-year-old boy will appear in court next month accused of stabbing another teenager in Dartmouth Park last week.
Police came across a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound in Darmouth Park Hill at around 5.45pm last Friday (December 21).
While one officer administered life-saving treatment, including CPR, a colleague chased one of two suspects on foot and arrested a 14-year-old boy.
He was later released without further action and a second 14-year-old was arrested a short time later.
He was bailed to appear at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on January 9 charged with GBH with intent and possession of a knife.
The victim was subsequently taken to a west London hospital where his condition was later described as stable.
Det Supt Raffaele D’Orsi, of Camden Police, said: “The victim had suffered a serious stab injury. I have been advised by medical staff that the actions of the officers at the scene saved this victim’s life.”
