With just over a week to go until Christmas, these cute pups were already dressed in their yuletide best at a dog-friendly fair in Hampstead. And “Jake” and “Minnie” weren’t the only dogs full of holiday cheer at the fourth annual Santa Paws gathering at The Garden Gate pub in South End Road on Sunday afternoon.

Hundreds of people – including soap actress Michelle Collins and actor Peter Egan – took their pooches along to enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and have photos taken of their prized pets in a doggy version of a Santa’s grotto.

Hampstead comedian Alan Carr donated five signed Christmas cards, which were raffled off at the fundraiser.

In total, the event raised £859 for East Finchley-based rehoming charity All Dogs Matter.
