Camden is one of a handful of boroughs where there have been no homeless families staying in bed and breakfast accommodation for more than the government-imposed maximum of six weeks.
Recently published figures show there were 464 families across the capital who stayed in emergency bed and breakfast hotels for more than six weeks from January to March this year.
Camden and Haringey were among 14 boroughs where no families were forced to stay in temporary accommodation while more permanent housing was arranged by the local authorities.
A report by BBC’s Newsnight programme revealed last year that there were more homeless families being forced to live in bed and breakfast hotels because of rising rents and cuts to housing benefits.
