Camden will have the second-highest number of residents in London exposed to deadly air pollution by the end of the decade.

A new report from campaign group Clean Air London has revealed Camden trails only Westminster in a list of London boroughs expected to have the highest number of people exposed to dangerous levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) by 2020.

The estimates, which refer to the number of people set to be exposed to NO2 exceeding the annual mean limit value, were drawn from the Mayor of London’s report on plans for an Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ).

Last month, Camden Council joined other local authorities in urging Mr Johnson to expand his plans for the capital.
