THE CAMDEN Crawl music festival has been given the green light by licensing bosses for this year's event in summer.
Camden Council's Licensing Panel met last night (Thursday, January 21) and approved the festival organisers' application to serve alcohol and play live music outdoors among other activities in Hawley Crescent on the opening weekend of May.
The licence is subject to a series of conditions currently being ironed out by the council and due to be announced shortly.
Some residents have complained that granting the licence would create nuisance in the residential area with increased littering and alcohol related incidents, but the business consortium Camden Town Unlimited has welcomed the application unreservedly.
