STRINGENT regulations have been enforced on Bar Monsta in Camden Town, after police complained the venue was creating trouble and breaching its licence.

A dedicated telephone line to police will now be set up, weekly risk assessments undertaken, all drinks served in plastic containers and everyone searched on entry. It is also now an over-21 bar except for private functions and on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm onwards there will be a minimum of five security door staff.

Camden Council made the ruling after police requested a review of the bar's licence because of concerns about activities there.
