A house in Belsize Park was ransacked by a gang of burglars in surgical masks, according to neighbours.
The group raided the home in Daleham Mews last Thursday (September 6) in the early hours of the morning. Police were alerted when a neighbour sounded the alarm after noticing cupboards and a fridge had been left open in the house at around 6am.
A police spokeswoman confirmed that items had been stolen, but would not say what.
Officers are investigating, but no arrests have been made.
