A DRUG dealer has been jailed for three and a half years after she was caught selling crack cocaine and heroin on the streets of Belsize Park.

Rebecca Francis, 20, was sentenced at Blackfriars Crown Court on Friday after admitting that she had supplied class-A drugs.

She was arrested by undercover police on September 11 after they spotted her exchanging goods with another woman in Glenilla Road.

Police officers discovered that Francis, of St Stephen's Avenue, Shepherd's Bush, had nearly £500 in cash and a bag containing wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.

"The amount of evidence against the offender was such that she had little choice but to plead guilty," Det Con Matt Haslam said after the hearing.

He warned: "The punishment imposed by the court serves as a warning to others who may think that selling drugs in Camden is an easy way to make money. It is not.
