Golders Green turns blue as the Tory candidates nail all three seats in the Barnet local elections.

The results, which were announced around 4.15pm on Friday afternoon revealed father and son duo Melvin, 60, and Dean, 27 held on to their seats and were joined by Reuben Thompstone to complete a Conservative clean sweep in the ward.

Melvin Cohen, 60 can look forward to another new term after serving as a councillor for around 28 years.

Speaking to the Ham&High before the ballot he said: "I do believe I have helped a goodly number of residents who have sought my assistance and if re-elected would wish to continue to do so.
