Arsenal strongly denied rumours that George Graham was about to resign or be sacked.
The Gunners boss was at the centre of bung allegations and former Spurs striker Garth Crooks told Greater London Radio an insider informed him he was about to leave the club.
But, speaking after a 1-1 home draw with Leicester extended their run without a home win to 14 weeks, Graham said "Whoever said that is never going to get a job as a clairvoyant, are they?"

The club also issued a statement denying the story but Crooks retorted: "I get the feeling what is coming out of Arsenal is rather unconvincing ... Arsenal should really have these rumours quashed unreservedly.''
The following week, Graham was sensationally sacked by Arsenal.
