Police are appealing for information to help find a 77-year-old man not seen since the end of May.
Officers are very concerned for Leon Sverdloff’s safety and wellbeing as he has dementia, diabetes, bone disease and gangrene in his feet.
It was reported to police yesterday that Mr Sverdloff had not been in contact with friends since April and this was out of character.
His last known sighting was at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead on May 31.
Mr Sverdloff – who lived in Newbury Park, and is known to use public transport and travel widely across London – is described as white, about 5ft 10ins tall with a medium build and with silvery-white, balding hair. He has burn scars on his legs.
It is not known what he was wearing at the time he went missing, but Mr Sverdloff usually wears a collared shirt and jeans, sometimes a smart leather jacket, and regularly carries umbrellas.
