Police are increasingtly concerned for the safety of a pensioner who has been missing from his Golders Green home since last Sunday.

David Willis, 84, was last seen at his home in The Orchard, NW11, at around 10am on December 27.

A Met spokesman said: “Officers and his family are growing increasingly concerned for his safety and well being as he has not been seen or heard from since.”

Mr Willis is described as white; around 6ft tall with a skinny but broad build.

He is bald with hair at the back and is described as having a bump on his nose and a gap in his top teeth.

The spokesman said: It is not known what Mr Willis was wearing when he disappeared, but it is possible he had bandages on his legs and swollen hands. He is described as shuffling and bent over when he walks.”

Mr Willis is known the frequent Camden and the Faversham area in Kent.

“He enjoys visiting pubs, but is not believed to have access to transport or money with him,” said the spokesman.

Anyone with information is asked to call police in Barnet via 101.
