RESIDENTS campaigning for the independence of Alexandra Palace have slammed a response from the Charity Commission as "superficial and inadequate".
A group of 10 residents wrote to the Charity Commission stating they did not believe the option of the "Ultimate Solution" for governance, with Ally Pally gaining independence, was being properly considered.
They said that at a stakeholder meeting last year, this was the preferred option, but it is not being treated as such during the consultation.
